The Great Gatsby


THE GREAT GATSBY

I read this book a long time ago when i did high school. I wanted to read it because i liked the movie a lot.
This novel was written in 1925 by the American author F.Scott Fitzgerald. The main characters are: 
  1. Nick Carraway (He is Gatsby's neighbor), the novel's narrator.
  2. Jay Gatsby (A mysterious young millionaire with shady business connections), The protagonist.
  3. Daisy Fay Buchanan (The woman Gatsby falls in love with).
  4. Thomas Buchanan (Daisy's husband).
  5. Jordan Baker (Daisy's intimate friend).
  6. George B.Wilson (Mechanic and garage owner).
  7. Myrtle Wilson (George's wife).
  8. Meyer Wolfshiem (Gatsby's mentor).
This novel is about the history of Gatsby, who is only moved by an obsession, that is recovering a youthful love (Daisy), but now she has a life with her husband. She is divided between her husband and Gatsby.

I´m going to talk about the Job Advertisement or rather about the article "Top 10 Best Job Ad Examples". I have read all the examples and the one that i didn´t like was the 9 ("Employee testimonial job ad"), because all the time i´m watching the TV commercials and also in the radio commercials how they use workers to promote their company and in the end it´s annoying and boring. The example number 6 ("Video job ad"), try to make a video about the company and the work environment with the goal that you like it. This video should be short, intense and shocking. I really liked this example but i see a problem that if this video is too long, people can get bored. It´s better to use a photograph or post but with a little originality, as in example 7. Series (The Last Kingdom)

  The Last Kingdom is a famous british tv series, it premiered on October 10, 2015 on BBC America. I watched this series a year ago through the Netflix platform. I really liked it because is about medieval times in Great Britain. There are a lot of characters in this series but the most important are: Uhtred of Bebbanburg interpreted by Alexander Drymon Brida interpreted by Emily Cox Beocca interpreted by Ian Hart Finan interpreted by Mark Rowley Thyra interpreted by Julia Bache-Wiig Ragnar interpreted by Tobias Santelmann Aethelwold interpreted by Harry McEntire King Alfred by David Dawson The story takes place in the year 872 and Lorth Uthred, a Saxon nobleman, was murdered by the Danes and his son Utred of Bebbanburg is captured and raised as a Dane.
